> Publication of the second 2010 issue of the Annals of Telecommunications [March-April 2010]
Like the previous one, this is devoted to QoE (Quality of Experience) but this time focusing on the socioeconomic aspects rather than the appraisal tools. The cost and pricing models in the internet world come under particular scrutiny.

> First 2010 issue of the Annals of Telecommunications devoted to QoE [January-February 2010]
This issue is all about QoE (Quality of Experience). This first volume (there will be a second) reports on the metrics used and performance evaluation with 6 articles from industrial outfits such as Orange and academic research centers in Europe and Asia.

> Publication of the November-December 2009 issue of the Annals of Telecommunications: Open Topics [November-December 2009]
Unlike the previous ones, this is not a themed issue – the 9 articles in it are on subjects as diverse as digital communications, security in mobile environments, and good energy management in sensor networks.

> Publication of an Annals of Telecommunications issue devoted to sat nav systems [September-October 2009]
Coordinated by Nel Samama (Télécom SudParis), Gérard Lachapelle (University of Calgary) and Masato Takahashi (NICT, Tokyo), this issue particularly focuses on research being conducted on the frontier of telecoms networks and GNSS (for example in order to ensure indoor-outdoor continuity). Also by Nel Samama, an overview of the main research projects around the world on this theme.

> Cognitive radio from equipment to network [July-August 2009]
Publication of an Annals of Telecommunications issue devoted to cognitive radio, coordinated by Christophe Moy (Supélec, France), Linda Doyle (Trinity College, Ireland) and Yukitoshi Sanada (Keio University, Japan). The issue opens with a contribution by Joseph Mitola III, the "pope" of cognitive radio, a technique which is expected to be put to even more effective use. Along with articles from China and the USA, this issue includes several contributions from the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Franc and Greece, attesting to the quality of research in this domain.

> May-June 2009 issue of the Annals of Telecommunications
This issue is dedicated to virtualization in networks, a technique which will be at the very heart of the internet of the future. Note that the coordination of this issue was jointly carried out by academics (O. Cherkaoui from the UQAM and Guy Pujolle of the LIP6) and an industrialist (M.Z. Hasan from Cisco). The issue also has an overview by Jim Roberts (Orange Labs) of the research initiatives that are attempting to define an internet of the future using a clean slate approach.

> Open Topics [March-April 2009]
From the conception of NGN (Next generation network) services to internet connection within the UMTS, this issue presents 8 articles with an applications slant. The articles come from researchers from academic fields (including Télécom ParisTech and Télécom SudParis) but also industrial fields (Orange Labs, Iran Telecommunication research center).

> Component-based architecture: the fractal initiative [January-February 2009]
Publication of an issue of Annals of Telecommunications devoted to software engineering, in particular the Fractal model, an initiative by France Telecom and INRIA researchers. This issue addresses the development of the Fractal model since its creation in 2001, but also component based software engineering (CBSE) with Fractal, and certain applications of the model itself.
