Primarily, Institut Telecom schools train telecommunications engineers and managers. Graduates of Institut Telecom schools feed a number of different economic sectors: Information systems and services architects, they anticipate and support technological evolutions. They design, deploy and exploit information and communication technologies. They work both in ICT sector businesses (manufacturers, operators, IT services companies) and end user businesses (banks, insurance, transport, distribution, administration). They exercise a very varied range of jobs: research and development, studies, operations, consultancy, commercial, management, business creation … The doctorate paves the way for careers in higher education and research in major government bodies, but also research and development activities in businesses. |
