In order to successfully implement its funding policy, the Institut Télécom has created its own development company, TELECOM Valorisation, a 100%-owned subsidiary of the Institut Télécom. Its initial objective – participation in technological investment and development funds in the ICT sector – has now been extended to participation in the capital of companies.
In this way, the Institut Télécom lends its support to project leaders in the form of:
- awarding of grants of between 4000 and 8000 € , subject to approval by a panel. Since 1999, sixty-five projects have received grants of the Institut Télécom.
- coaching activities
- funding from economic players who are partners of the Institut Télécom
To help it better fulfil these funding requirements, the Institut Télécom has formed a number of financial partnerships.
